As a Lieutenant at the sheriff’s office, I’ve worked tirelessly over the last couple years to make sure that our staff have the training and resources necessary to prevent crime, deliver vital services, and keep Hancock County a safe and welcoming community for all to enjoy. I was born in Bangor, at what was then Eastern Maine Medical Center, and raised in Bradley, a small town just outside of Orono. As a toddler, my family purchased a camp on Beech Hill Pond in Otis where we would often reside during the Summer months. Around age nine my family moved from Bradley to our camp while my parents built a new home in Dedham. I would later attend the Dedham School and John Bapst Memorial High School, graduating in 2013.
Being Sheriff is more than a title — it’s a responsibility to lead by example and model the values you expect of your deputies in order to best serve the community. If elected, I will ensure that the Sheriff’s Office reflects the values of the community while keeping public safety at the forefront of everything we do.
I am a firm believer in setting goals and working diligently to achieve them. Without a clear direction, it's easy to lose sight of what you set out to achieve. Below are just a few of the many goals I have committed to if elected Sheriff.
